Our five-day adventure started and ended at Little House on the Vortex. We would wake to beautiful sunrises and end our days with awesome sunsets! This home has every comfort you need to relax after an all-day adventure in and around Sedona. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Every window offers a different and exciting view. The outdoor furniture allows you to settle in and get ready for a spectacular view of the ever-changing scenery in all directions.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home! We have already recommended this home to fellow travelers and would definitely stay here again. Our stay was from April 1-5, the weather was perfect for shorts during the day and sweaters in the evening.

Little house on the Vortex is built to take advantage of the view, which is stunning. The open kitchen/living room area has huge sliding glass doors and windows that look across the valley at a miles long red rock cliff. The view is enchanting, especially in the evening when the sunset lights it up. The house is comfortably furnished and appointed, and the main living area is spacious and comfortable.

There are the main living and dining area on the main floor and up one flight of stairs are a loft area and the master bath. Up another flight is the master bedroom. The loft is a cozy place to sit, but as a sleeping area probably would only be suitable for a family with children as it connects to the master bath which has no closable door to the master bedroom. The second bedroom is down a flight of stairs from the living area, and then down another flight of stairs is the laundry room and garage.

As Red Rock Realty makes clear, there are a lot of stairs in this house, and it is perched on a pretty steep hill, so you will be constantly walking up and down lots of steps. The trade-off is the outstanding view. The neighborhood is a very quiet one of mostly high-end homes.

Wow! We had the most wonderful time!

First, we were greeted by a red rock sunset from the deck of the amazing Little House on the Vortex. The home has a million dollar view and was a highlight of each day after coming home from hiking in beautiful Sedona. Because we were gone most of the day hiking - we couldn't bear the thought of missing out on sitting out on the deck enjoying the view - so we only went out to eat once! The home was very comfortable and is exactly as described and in photos (but even better!)

We stayed for a week April 13-20 - but if we come again would want to stay at least 2 weeks so that we could hike and hang out at the home every other day!

Everything you see on the website is what you get. Fabulous views from all parts of the house. Very clean, well supplied. Be prepared for steep driveway and lots of stairs. Our group of four were all in our 70's and made it fine. Furniture was clean and comfortable but could be updated. No recliner for afternoon naps. Kitchen and baths could also be updated, but were very clean and well supplied with nice linens.

Karla was very helpful, but we never needed her after arrival. Would rent again. Rate this property at 4.8 out of 5.

This house was as perfect as we could imagine, being just as beautiful as the website photos and as conveniently located to the amenities of Sedona while being in a very quiet and private setting. While it was only the two of us, the house could easily accommodate a larger family. We were especially impressed with the multiple appropriate appointments throughout the house, the deck with unbelievable views of Sedona landscape, the well equipped kitchen, the TVs and the numerous DVDs available for use. In short we can highly recommend this house for its location, beauty and reasonable cost, considering its numerous amenities.

Your home is amazing! It's been an amazing trip for us. Hiking West Fork Trail and Devils Bridge, and red rock crossing where we got married last year. Sedona is the most beautiful place on earth. We love it so much we named our daughter Sedona. We will definitely be back! And we drove up to Page, saw Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend is a must. Thank you so much!

Ed and I flew from our home in Rhode Island to LA for a family wedding. After all the excitement in CA, it was so nice to come to Sedona and spend time relaxing in your lovely home. It was our first time in Sedona, and we wanted to take in all the sights (jeep ride, Grand Canyon, Montezuma Castle & Well) but I was always happy to return to the views from your deck, and enjoy all the comforts that you have provided. Thank you!

This excellent place is "as advertised" perfect for our purposes. Despite a couple of cloudy, rainy days we managed a short hike at Fay Canyon, a day trip to Grand Canyon and day visits from friends from Prescott, Mesa and Phoenix. Plus a good bit of time on the balcony enjoying the view.

Thank you for opening your home to us. The house is beautiful and we had a wonderful time! On New Year's Eve the sky opened and dropped over a foot of snow! The kids were in heaven.

We enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing especially to flatlanders from Nebraska. Thanks for your hospitality.

Thank you so much for opening up your home. Sedona is so beautiful and the views from here are phenomenal. Our daughters, ages 6 and 1.5 loved having toys to play with. They also helped to distract our littlest from all the things she should not be getting into. Your home is beautiful and it was so much more than we expected. Thanks.

This house was wonderful! The view was amazing. The red rock area was one of the most beautiful places on earth. Thanks for opening your home to us.

Fantastic views, on side of mt., but lots of stairs.

Eileen and I stayed at the “Little House on the Vortex” during February 2016. Sedona is truly a special place and so is the “Little House on the Vortex”. We had an amazing visit to Sedona that was greatly enhanced with the privacy (one acre of land), peace and quiet and view that the Vortex House provided. After our long days of hiking it was a pleasure returning to the Vortex House to watch the changing colors of the red rocks at sunset. In fact, we liked it so much that we have booked the Vortex House again for 2017. Next year will mark our 5th visit to Sedona so I guess we still have Red Rock fever.

Thanks to Red Rock Realty for making it happen.
